Mirrors are multipurpose – they looks amazing as decor pieces, you can check yourself out before you leave the house, and it can play illusions like making a space feel taller or brighter. Lately I’ve been hearting a variety of different styles and living vicariously through those who own the Anthropologie gleaming primrose mirror. One day that mirror will be mine but for now I thought I’d share some tips that I’ve learned when it comes to styling a mirror and my fave picks! Let’s dive in.

Don’t have a lot of windows in a room? Hang a mirror on a window-less wall to give the illusion of a window. This works because light bounces off of the glass and reflect the elements surrounding it!

The easiest way to make a room appear longer or taller is to add a mirror, IMO. To make a room look taller the goal is to draw the eyes upward, so think full length mirrors. If you want the allure of a longer room, stick with floor length but make it twice as wide so that the mirror takes up the majority of the wall.

An oversized mirror hung horizontally can transform a space and make it appear wider or longer due to the reflection.
