Cosy Sweatshirts to Invest in this Winter!

2020 was definitely the year of serving our comfort while many of us made the transition from working at the office to working from home during a quarantine that lasted for months on end. We saw a dramatic shift in what people are buying and how they’re making their homes and wardrobes cosy and functional. One of the top trending fashion finds of 2020 is definitely sweatshirts, I’m constantly seeing a variety all over social media and today I’m rounding up my favourites for you! There’s five different styles included in this round-up all ranging in price from extremely affordable to high end, no matter what you’re sitch is I guarantee you’ll find what you’re looking for.

1 | Sherpa

This Black & Gray Color Block Quarter-Zip Sherpa Sweater is a fan favourite, it’s sold out multiple times but you can opt to receive a notification as soon as it’s back in stock!

This Time and Tru Women’s Quarter Zip Sherpa Pullover was a Walmart find and for the price [I’m sure you could guess] I bought multiple colours! These sherpa’s remind me of the VS Pink line and honestly I found that after just a few wears/washes it was basically ruined and had so many fuzzies stuck to it. Investing in these ones instead hurts my heart way less when I have to get rid of them after one season.

Now this is a sherpa that lasts more than one season! I’ve had my Lazy Sunday Faux Shearling Quarter Zip Pullover for two years now and besides a little piling on the inside of the sweater [which no one can see] it’s in perfect condition! It’s so cosy and I always get compliments when I wear it!

This Slater Pullover from Thread & Supply is one I’ve had my eye on for a while but have yet to pull the trigger. Probably because it reminds me exactly of the VS Pink sherpa however I know that Thread & Supply’s quality is superior to VS Pink so it’s still on my wishlist!

American Eagle at it again with their Cloud Oversized Sherpa in the cutest colours! I absolutely adore AE- their clothes are generally so soft and cosy.

2 | Knit

I don’t know about you but I’ve been absolutely loving the Rib Knit Sweater trend and as expected H&M totally nailed it!

This Rib Knit Turtleneck is similar to the rib know sweater however it features a turtleneck and gives me all the boss lady vibes. Just picture wearing it with a high slick bun, some tights, and knee-high boots.

I’ve seen the My Only Sunshine Knit all over all of my favourite influencers feeds. Although it’s a bit pricey I can totally justify the investment, its just so dang cute with the contrasting knitting patterns!

I found this exact sweater at my local Winners in a gorgeous lilac colour. I love the distressing- it’s just enough but not too much.

Another H&M find! This Fine Knit Sweater in Beige is super chic yet cosy, perfect to throw on for a day of work when you’re required to jump on a zoom call!

3 | Cashmere

The Essential Cashmere Sweater is super affordable when it comes to cashmere! It’s only $75 and it comes in a beautiful array of colours.

I love the colour of this Coffee Nicolette Cashmere Sweater! It also has really cute details at the cuffs- a pop of white and faux distressing.

Another huge trend that we saw in 2020 was Color Block Cashmere‘s and I’m all here for it. It’s a unique style and definitely makes a statement while being aesthetically pleasing.

This high end Loop-Trim Ribbed Cashmere Sweater is definitely not in my price range so there it sits on the wishlist! I love the details along the sleeves and would scoop this up in a second.

This Hi-Low Cashmere Sweater has contrasting stripe patterns which definitely stand out to the average eye! You can dress this piece up or down depending on your mood.

4 | Crewnecks

This Freestyle Sweatshirt was one of my subscribers favourites in 2020!

Star patterned clothing is making a hot comeback and this White Star Fuzzy Crewneck not only fits in with this trend but is also super soft and comfortable.

This is for the girl who loves her neutral, simple, stable pieces. The Organic Cotton Crewneck embodies just that!

Okay but this Madewell Boxy Crewneck has pockets, need I say more?

If I’m buying a crewneck, best believe it’s gonna be oversized. The AE Oversized Crewneck is one of my favourites! I love pairing it with jeans, sneakers, and a cute coat for running errands.

5 | Hoodies

This AE Forever Oversized Hoodie comes in so many different patterns and colours! My favourite is definitely the tie-dye print.

Speaking of tie-dye- this Cropped Tie-Dye Hoodie is very affordable and has nice soft colours.

It wouldn’t be a fashion haul if I didn’t include this Levi’s Hoodie! Levi’s is one of my favourite brands and I love this blush coloured hoodie.

This Van’s Hoodie boasts the cutest coloured font and as we all know Van’s hoodies are known for being soft and fuzzy sweaters.

I like this Oversized Sport Fleece Hoodie probably because of the contrasting black strings against the creamy white material and because its fleece- so warm!

What sweater was your favourite find?

Talk soon lovelies!
